Just a quick note to let you know that I’ve been busy updating the content of a couple of my older posts based on information I recently received from Daniel More, President of Brigham Enterprises Inc. Daniel has been with Brigham since the 1980’s and was kind enough to share some of his first-hand insights and knowledge of the company’ s history with me.
Armed with Daniel’s input, I have made changes to (including one complete re-writing of) several sections of my post on Brigham pipe history entitled “Brigham Pipes – A Closer Look at Dots, Dates and Markings“. You’ll also find new information on the modern Brigham President Series pipes and the new Brigham Giante Series of over-sized pipes. The updates in this post should eventually also make their way to my Brigham Pipes article on Pipedia.org.
I have also included Daniel’s comments on Brigham Churchwarden pipes in my write-up of “A 1940’s Brigham Churchwarden for the Collection“. It seems there are more CW pipes out there to be re-discovered!
