Hi everyone. A quick note of apology for anyone trying to view the site between about 8:30PM and 9:00PM EST this evening (26 Jan). I’ve made the bold move of registering dadspipes.com as the new URL for the blog.
The good folks at WordPress are still hosting the site, and will redirect any visitors using the old (and much more cumbersome) dadspipes.wordpress.com URL.
Rest assured that. apart from the URL, nothing else will change. I’ll be posting new pipe restorations and other pipe-related articles regularly.

It’s been silky smooth so far. The new domain, I am told, may take up to 72 hours to fully “settle in”, but I only experienced a short (20 minute) outage immediately after initiating the migration. Very nice!
