My apologies to Mr. Dickens for the title, but it seemed appropriate for this teaser post!
Until now, I have made estate pipe purchases in ones and twos – a pipe here, two there, working on them one at a time, getting them cleaned and restored/refurbished before adding them to my rack and starting the hunt for the next pipe to work on.
That changed recently when I placed the winning bid on a lot of 17 estate pipes! This should keep me busy for some time, and provide lots of raw material for new pipe refurbishment blog posts.
Keep watching for these pipes to make their individual appearances here soon. A few will likely make it into my personal collection, but many will be up for sale after refurbishment.
