They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If that’s the case, Peterson System pipes may be some of the most flattered pipes around!
This French-made Wellbor pipe is very clearly influenced by Peterson , with its full bent stummel, Army style push stem with flared shoulder, nickel shank cap and a moisture sump drilled below the airway in the shank.
Smaller in overall size than its Irish inspiration, this pipe has been completely restored and refinished in a handsome Black Cherry stain that does a good job of pushing a few small fills into the background. The stem is a new Vulcanite replacement.
Pipe measures 5-1/4″ long overall from front bottom of bowl to end of stem. Bowl stands 1-1/2″ tall by 1-1/4″ wide with a chamber bore of approximately 3/4″ in diameter.
