Eugène-Léon Ropp (1830 – 1907) acquired a patent for a cherrywood pipe in 1869 and set up a factory to produce his designs in 1870. These pipes proved to be popular; production continued through two World Wars until the company closed in 1991.
This ROPP 815 Poker Sitter is freshly restored and ready to enjoy. A Delrin shank liner and brass shank cap have been added to repair a crack.
Pipe measures 6″ long. Bowl stands 1-5/8′ tall at the front by 1-1/4″ wide. Chamber bore is 3/4″.
