No one captures the classic Prince shape quite like the British and this lovely Comoy’s N337 is a beautiful example!
This pipe features a round, slightly squat bowl shape coupled to a long, elegantly thin shank that flows seamlessly through to an equally elegant Vulcanite stem. The briar shows some interesting but not spectacular grain with a few small fills showing through.
Pipe is stamped simply “Comoy’s” on the left shank with the company’s round “Made in London” over “England” COM stamp and a shape number, “N337”, on the right shank. The stem is, I believe, a replacement that has had a Delrin tenon installed.
Pipe measures approximately 6-1/4″ (159mm) long. Bowl is 1-3/8″ (35mm) tall and measures 1-1/2″ (38mm) at its widest point. Chamber bore is 3/4″ (19mm) in diameter. Weight is 1.2oz (33g).
