Leonard Payne was a Canadian pipe maker based in British Columbia. He was a bit of a character and known for using two-piece shanks and a carburetor system at the shank/stem junction, both of which are present on this Bent Billiard.
This pipe also features an interesting “blasticated” finish – a rusticated finish designed to resemble a sandblasted pipe.
Pipe measures approximately 5-1/2″ long. Bowl stands 1-3/4″ tall by 1-3/8″ wide. Chamber bore is 3/4″.
